Paso Robles, meaning Oak Pass in Spanish, is world famous for its wine industry and is home to dozens of notable wineries. The town has a rich history rooted in agriculture and still maintains a unique feeling of an old western town with a friendly atmosphere and cultural opportunities. Lake Nacimiento recreational area is one of two amazing lakes located twenty-five miles from Paso Robles. If you are a boater, expect to take all day to explore this 5,370-surface acre lake. There are miles of waterways, countless inlets and coves, open bays, and a long winding river to water ski or Jet Ski through. Do you like to fish? Fishermen will appreciate that the lake is stocked with: White Bass, Catfish, Crappie, and Bluegill. For those wishing to live on the lake, there are numerous lakefront and hillside homes surrounding the area.

The summer months exhibit warmer temperatures than other regions of the California Central Coast. Yet the summer nights are amazing according to the locals, which are conducive to comfortable outdoor entertainment. The warm days and cooler nights are perfect for growing wine grapes that translate into a fine glass of wine. Seasonal changes in winter welcome in cooler days and some rain.
