Paso Robles, meaning Oak Pass in Spanish, is world famous for its wine industry and is home to dozens of notable wineries. Lake Nacimiento recreational area is one of two amazing lakes located twenty-five miles from Paso Robles. If you are a boater, expect to take all day to explore this 5,370-surface acre lake. There are miles of waterways, countless inlets and coves, open bays, and a long winding river to water ski or Jet Ski through. Do you like to fish? Fishermen will appreciate that the lake is stocked with: White Bass, Catfish, Crappie, and Bluegill. The summer months exhibit warmer temperatures than other regions of the California Central Coast.
